The Office terms explain that Office Girl and Junior areas contain sizes up to UK 5.5 designed for children and young adults. Dated UK price sample

On 19 August 2026, Office’s official own-brand men’s trainer listing showed Carson Suede trainers at £59.99, Clifford Chunky trainers at £50 and Cooper 7 Eye trainers at £49.99. The women’s listing showed Terri Jute Platform trainers at £49.99 and Thrive suede cup-sole trainers at £55.99. A Treacle slip-on page showed £24 against a £45.99 reference price, while a Chepstow lightweight style showed £28 against £49.99.

These are volatile examples, not a promise of price, stock or quality. They show why sale status belongs in the delivery calculation: a discounted pair may not count towards the £80 free-standard-delivery threshold. They also show that a PU upper, suede upper and mixed construction should not be treated as interchangeable merely because the silhouettes or prices are close. Save the style number, material description and sale state with the comparison.

Sizing and indoor fitting

A conversion table cannot guarantee fit. Brand sizing, toe-box shape, heel counter, volume and materials differ even within one label. Measure both feet while standing, use the longer foot, and follow the product or manufacturer guide. Wear the socks and orthotics intended for normal use.

Delivery and collection

Office’s page checked on 19 August 2026 listed next-day and express delivery at £5.99, standard at £3.99 below £80 and free above £80 excluding sale items. Standard timing was three to five working days for most UK orders. Northern Ireland and Channel Islands timings differed.

Free store collection was stated within six days to eligible UK stores, currently excluding Northern Ireland. The customer receives an email when ready and has 14 days to collect before automatic refund processing. Acknowledgement is not collection confirmation.

Do not add unwanted goods merely to cross £80, particularly because sale goods do not count towards the free-delivery offer. Compare the desired item plus £3.99 with an inflated basket. Save the promised date at checkout and use the parcel rights guide if fulfilment fails.

Returns: 28 days and original condition

The official returns page required online goods to be unworn and in original condition and packaging, with proof of purchase. Eligible footwear could be returned via DPD, post or courier, or to UK stores excluding concessions, within 28 days. The page said returns can take up to 10 days to arrive and be processed.

Keep the shoebox as product packaging; do not attach a courier label directly to it. Put it inside protective outer packaging. Retain tracking and contact Office promptly if confirmation does not arrive within the stated window. Clothing was directed to the distribution centre rather than the footwear store route.

Reviews, availability and care claims

Store-availability tools are snapshots. Office warns that stock changes and cannot necessarily be held or transferred, so call only when the journey cost matters and still wait for collection confirmation. Review scores can expose repeated sizing or finish issues, but model, size and wearer context matter; use our review-quality checklist rather than counting stars alone.

Care language must match the material. A product described as PU, suede or leather needs different cleaning and weather expectations. Follow the brand’s instructions and test any treatment unobtrusively. A spray or insole added at checkout is another purchase, not proof the shoe is durable or suitable.
