About Recommended Today

Useful answers.
Clear evidence.

Recommended Today is an independent editorial project for UK shoppers. We translate specifications, retailer terms, consumer rules and product claims into practical decisions.

Who writes the guides

The Recommended Today Editorial Team

Our work is published under a collective editorial byline because research, fact-checking, editing and site production are handled as one documented process. We do not invent named experts or imply hands-on testing that did not happen.

Each guide identifies what was checked and, where prices or retailer terms matter, the date of that check. Material updates are reflected in the page metadata and sitemap.

What we research

We prioritise primary evidence: manufacturer specifications and manuals, official retailer terms, warranty documents, UK consumer guidance and clearly attributable image sources. Customer feedback can reveal recurring questions, but it does not replace verifiable facts.

Our focus is the UK market. We include US context only where it genuinely helps readers understand a product or service.

What we will not claim

  • We do not claim to have bought, worn or tested a product unless the article explains the method.
  • We do not publish invented prices, stock claims or performance measurements.
  • We do not use a commercial relationship to decide a ranking or verdict.
  • We do not disguise advertising as independent editorial coverage.

Corrections and commercial relationships

Retailers and readers can send factual corrections to hello@recommendedtoday.com. We review evidence and correct substantive errors promptly. A retailer may propose a collaboration, but payment never buys a favourable conclusion.

Some future links may earn a commission at no extra cost to the reader. Those links will be identified appropriately, and the commercial arrangement will not determine inclusion.
